I've found a permanent job with a very interesting company (Maplesoft) doing the sort of work that I love. I am still interested in doing some minor contract work for museums so if you would like to hold a special event or learn how to apply project management methodologies to your next exhibit or project please have a look at my museum resume and drop me a line.

They say a man is known by the company he keeps and by his actions. Perhaps that explains why I appear to be so many different people. I've set up a few links below to take you to various pages that define my various hobbies and personas. Go ahead and have a look.

My professional life I recently earned my PMP!	A look at the most authentic of my viking other sides.	The SCA isn't as authentic but I've been in it for a while and it did get me started in a variety of areas.	This side of me has come in response to the needs of the schools. A true medieval persona for those groups not interested in the Vikings.

Then of course there is the part of me that is none of those things. Here are a few of things I do to fill up my spare time.

I dive when I can spare the time. Most of my dives are in Ontario, but I've gone to other locations as well. The picture above is from Iceland.	A couple of sports I use to try and stay in shape.	This is a conference I've run each year for the past 15 years. I'm very proud of it.	My research on various topics (mostly viking).

Travel I'm a big fan of travel. Below are lists of the Provinces, States, and Countries I've made it to so far. I'll add a picture or two and I hope to write up something about them soon. With any luck I'll be adding some more countries soon. Things I used to do
Over the years I've given up quite a few things for one reason or another. For the most part, my knees just won't take it anymore.

Skydiving	This one I think I'll always miss. Many a good summer weekend were spent at SWOOP (which wasn't there the last time I stopped by to visit). My highest jump? 12,500 ft. Almost 10000 feet of freefall. There is simply nothing comparable to this sport in my experience. I often think of going back for just one more jump....
Rugby	This one I don't miss as much as I used to since I've started playing it under water.
Squash	I used to play this every week day for 40 minutes. Great exercise but it just reached a point where my knees were hurting too much. A fun sport though and one I highly recommend.
